Ganga!!!

Recently we went to Mussorie for our holidays and we had a great time there. Our initial plan did not include the visit to Haridwar and Rishikesh but we just decided to visit them as they were only 35kms from Dehradun. I was so excited at the thought of seeing the Ganges that I dreamt about it the whole night... I still feel the excitement of having seen it. We went to Rishikesh first and took a guide to take us around... all the while the guide took us around showing us the different temples and the bridges ( Ram Jhulla and Lakshman Jhulla) my thought was only about seeing Ganga... finally I told the guide that I was interested in going to the river... Oh the silvery sand and the cold water was a delight and having my family with me made it so special... I don't know what it was.. was it that I hadn't planned or imagined to see the Ganga or was it that I had read/heard so much about the river that gave me so much of pleasure in being there... the feeling was truly SPECIAL!!! and I will always treasure the memory...

Auto Strike

We just thought that we were done with auto fare increases... but no we have the famous auto strike again. What is frustrating is that no thought is put in by the auto associations ( makes matter worse as there are more than one) or the Govt. Not all the autos have the revised auto meter and they are already on a strike for fresh increases. I wonder why they can not review the prices every 6months coinciding with the oil price reviews.

I'm Blogging

Wow ! I can't believe it that "I'm Blogging"... I'm so overwhelmed by that thought that I do not know where to start... the excitement and the feeling is almost similar to what I experienced when I began to write my diary as a teenager ( stopped writing my diary and destroyed my old diaries more than a decade ago ), although this is a lot different as the whole world gets to read it ;-)
Umm about myself .... a complex human being who loves her family and friends dearly...
Gosh.. it not easy to write a blog... I guess I need to get used to the thought first... I will be back again with my thoughts collected... until then see ya.....
